What stays on your device
Your selected answers, results, tensions, and saved Atlas journeys are stored locally on your device. A Map of Belief does not require an account in this version, and it does not automatically upload your theological answers.
You can review, export, delete individual journeys, or delete all local history from My Atlas. Removing browser or app storage may also erase that history.
Anonymous operational analytics
On first use, the app asks whether you want to share anonymous activity. Nothing in this category is sent unless you choose to enable it. When enabled, the app may record that a mode was started, completed, paused, resumed, or that a diagnostic was shared. These events can include the mode and number of questions, but they do not include the answers you selected or your resulting tradition.
You can change that choice in My Atlas. The app does not use an advertising identifier and does not sell your information or use it for cross-app advertising.
Optional diagnostic sharing
If you deliberately choose “Share this run for diagnostic review,” that one saved run is sent for quality review. It can include the question identifiers, your responses, displayed results, alignment details, and any tensions found. It is used to locate unclear premises, weak mappings, or scoring errors.
Sharing a diagnostic run is optional. To request deletion of a submitted diagnostic, email amapofbeliefsupport@gmail.com with the approximate submission date, mode, and any other details that can help locate it. Because no account or contact information is attached automatically, deletion may not be possible if the run cannot be identified reliably.
Other information
If you email support, the information you choose to include is used to answer your request. Like most hosted services, the website host may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as network and device request data.
The public version has no account system, cloud synchronization, advertising, in-app purchase, or third-party advertising tracker. If those practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the change is released.
Families and younger explorers
A Map of Belief is made for a general audience. Wonder Path is designed for adults and younger explorers to use together, and it does not ask a child to create an account or provide a name, age, email address, location, photo, or open-ended message. A trusted adult should guide a younger user when opening outside sources or contacting support.
